Personal Life Coaching
Aren’t you tired?
It's exhausting searching for peace, love and success, isn't it?
After decades of my own therapy, coaching, self-help workshops, meditation, research, reading and countless other personal development efforts in seeking after truth, I observed that what actually keeps us stuck away from love and peace in our lives is not any kind of failure on our part, but our tendency to avoid uncomfortable feelings. It's that simple!
We're taught to fix our feelings or change them to something positive or better, but all that just takes away from the reality and recognition that we are already all that we seek. We don’t have to go anywhere or change anything. Right now, everything that is going on in our lives, we are whole and complete and are literally supported by life itself. All that is required is that we relax into this moment, just as it is, even if this moment includes discomfort or pain. This is the difficult part, because we live in a society that has never embraced this philosophy and perspective about life, making it up to you to take the first step into a new paradigm of thinking and being.
Life is Messy
Life is messy and our lives will always be cracked, and in surrendering to this we gain the power to see the wholeness that is already present. In Japan there is an art called Kintsukuroi, which means “to repair with gold”. It is used to highlight the cracks making the object more beautiful. It shows that life will crack us open and through doing so we become more beautiful through experience.
Integrative coaching is quite different from conventional coaching and therapy, in so much that it’s not about fixing anything, because in reality there is nothing to fix. What it is about is discovering the freedom and power that is the present moment. This is the precondition of our existence and therefore our essential nature; and then from this place allowing actions to unfold from that place of Presence.
My approach draws from many different traditions from Jung, Zen, Mindfulness, Taoist philosophy, Transpersonal psychology and Meditation to name a few. The process is not intellectual, but experiential and therefore the transformation only happens and can only be grasped through living it rather than thinking about it.
Right now, in this very moment as you read these words, underneath all the things that you think are wrong or where you feel like you're failing or want to improve, everything is as it should be, everything is perfect exactly as it is. What is required is the surrender to this realization in order to go into what is known as the flow state. No one can convince you of this … You can only experience it for yourself, through Direct Experience ... I invite you to experience it.
Are you ready to really start living the life that you want? If you are...
